About the Role

Bloomreach is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative Datacraft team. This Senior Data Engineer remote position is pivotal in revolutionizing how businesses connect with their customers through AI-driven data solutions. You will be part of a team that is building the next-generation data platform that powers internal data warehouses, analytics dashboards, and the Loomi Analytics Agent for Bloomreach Engagement.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement data pipelines using Kafka, GCS, and Iceberg, following medallion architecture.
• Own data models and ETL processes for ID resolution and consent semantics.
• Maintain orchestration using Airflow or Cloud Composer, ensuring reliable data access patterns.
• Shape the data layer for Loomi Analytics Agent, implementing evaluation harnesses and analytics skills.
• Co-build modern dashboards and analytics stacks, designing canonical metrics and semantic layers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on building data platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and familiarity with tools like Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow or Cloud Composer.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance development and problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning frameworks and LLMs.
• Familiarity with modern BI tools and headless analytics.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
