Senior Cloud Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will strengthen cloud infrastructure, data protection, and disaster recovery across M365 and on-prem environments. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Engineer remote position that offers the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies in a flexible environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic guidance on Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and security for 24/7 mission-critical operations.
• Lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of Azure cloud architecture, including virtual networks, connectivity (VNet peering, VPN/ExpressRoute), security controls, compute platforms, and storage solutions across multiple environments.
• Develop, document, and enforce Azure cloud governance, standards, and operational procedures to drive consistency, compliance, and reliable production operations.
• Own large-scale Azure initiatives end-to-end, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver complex cloud migrations, modernizations, and infrastructure rollouts on time and within scope.
• Utilize your strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in cloud systems engineering, including M365, Rubrik, or enterprise backup platforms and Azure AD integration.
• Experience building disaster recovery and backup strategies for hybrid environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional troubleshooting experience.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as M365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, Rubrik Certified Administrator (RCA).
