Senior Budget Analyst - Remote Opportunity in IC Resource Planning

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to join our team in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). This remote Senior Budget Analyst position offers a unique opportunity to engage with the Intelligence Community (IC) on high-priority initiatives such as cloud service adoption and AI implementation. You will play a critical role in advising the IC CIO on planning and budget formulation, supporting IC partners with Congressional Budget Justification Book (CBJB) development, and generating accurate resource content for the DNI's annual budget briefings to Congress.

What You'll Do

• Lead and author IC resource strategies, analytical issue papers, and strategic evaluations to support informed programmatic decisions by IC senior leadership.
• Oversee the planning, preparation, justification, administration, analysis, and monitoring of budget/financial information to ensure cost-effective support of IC organizations and programs.
• Manage senior-level customer expectations and ensure the delivery of quality products and services.
• Monitor the collection, research, and analysis of comprehensive financial information to develop budget testimony and briefings for senior DNI leadership.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to OIC CIO and IC customers regarding their operations and requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Expert ability to plan, prepare, justify, and analyze budget/financial information.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate complex intelligence issues to a wide audience.
• Expert knowledge of the National Intelligence Program (NIP) and Military Intelligence Program (MIP) budget formulation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
