About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer - Automation and Testing (Remote) to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and Selenium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to trigger automated tests and streamline the development process.
• Design reusable test frameworks and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Apply AI concepts to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Communicate effectively with team members across different time zones to ensure project alignment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in automated testing and software development.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or Software Engineer with a focus on automated testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Pytest, and Postman.
• Familiarity with IDEs like Cursor or equivalent for test development.
• Understanding of AI concepts and their application in testing and automation.
• Proven ability to design test frameworks and write reusable test code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote, distributed team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with other test automation frameworks or languages.
• Exposure to AI-assisted test generation or analytics tools.
• Knowledge of SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software environments.
• Understanding of performance, security, or accessibility testing.
