Senior AI/​ML Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to join our innovative team at CoVar. This remote position allows you to work on cutting-edge AI and machine learning projects that have real-world impact. You will develop software and machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems for our clients, including the Department of Defense (DoD). What You'll Do

• Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and software solutions.
• Work with large datasets to evaluate results and refine algorithms.
• Write production code for real-world applications.
• Present your findings and solutions to high-level stakeholders.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and researchers to push the boundaries of AI/ML.

Requirements

• Expertise in Python, including libraries such as NumPy and pandas.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and algorithms.
• Familiarity with computer vision techniques, including object detection.
• B.S. in engineering, math, computer science, or related field; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
• Excellent technical communication skills.
• Ability to work in Durham, NC, with relocation assistance available.
• Eligibility for US security clearance (US citizenship required).

• Experience with DoD projects.
• Active US security clearance (secret or higher).
