Senior Accountant - Remote Position at Tungsten Automation

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant - Remote to join our team at Tungsten Automation. In this role, you will be responsible for general accounting tasks, including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, and performing account and bank reconciliations. You will assist with monthly closings and account analysis while supporting the senior accountant in their responsibilities. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and be part of a dynamic team.

What You'll Do

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
• Meet all financial reporting deadlines and prepare financial management reports.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Support budget and forecast activities, developing and maintaining financial databases.
• Assist in financial audit preparation and coordinate the audit process.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in routine tasks while adhering to company AI governance and data privacy standards.

Requirements

• A college degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP).
• At least 3 years of experience in general accounting.
• Proficiency in related computer applications (e.g., MS AX, HFM, MS Office).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Good English language skills and proficiency in at least one other European language.
• Experience with AI systems and the ability to assess output quality.
