What You'll Do

• Assist the Engineering Manager in overseeing the engineering function at Lea Interchange garage.
• Ensure our fleet of buses is maintained to the highest standards required by the Company, TfL, and the DVSA.
• Influence Health & Safety compliance and foster a culture of employee wellbeing.
• Utilize your mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge to guide maintenance procedures for large vehicles.
• Plan, prioritize, and make informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in engineering supervisory or management roles, particularly with large vehicles.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering and vehicle maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering and bodywork construction.
• Ability to gain a Transport CPC if required.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.

• Experience with electric vehicles and modern bus technologies.
