Failure Analysis Engineer - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Failure Analysis Engineer to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on critical testing and failure analysis processes for defective goods in our Service Center. As a Failure Analysis Engineer, you will play a vital role in enhancing our testing capabilities and ensuring the quality of our products.

What You'll Do

• Develop and improve testing and failure analysis processes for defective goods.
• Educate system technicians on testing protocols and the failure analysis process.
• Create functional failure reports and conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with the QA MRB team.
• Monitor and analyze the failure rate of tested parts, checking KPIs like SNR and NTF.
• Collaborate with QA and PE teams during new product introductions to set up test specifications.
• Work with the Quality MRB group to process RMA and MRB units according to internal and customer requirements.
• Document test instructions, SOPs, and process documentation for all parts and modules.
• Act as a proactive team member, leading testing and failure analysis discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in failure analysis or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; CAD skills are a plus.
• Advanced written and spoken English skills.
• Strong communication, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems logically.

• Experience in mechanical assembly and IT systems/networks.
