Senior Account Executive - HoReCa Marketplace (Remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive - HoReCa Marketplace (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Saltz. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming how chefs order food by leveraging our innovative digital marketplace. With your expertise, you will help connect chefs with quality ingredients while driving growth for our gastronomy business partners.
What You'll Do
- Introduce Saltz to chefs, restaurant owners, and F&B managers, convincing them to utilize our platform for their ordering needs.
- Manage a portfolio of restaurant and HoReCa accounts, focusing on growth rather than mere maintenance.
- Conduct regular client visits to understand their challenges and demonstrate how Saltz can enhance their operations.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts by engaging in meaningful conversations and listening to client feedback.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including chefs and procurement teams, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate client feedback into actionable improvements for our platform.
- Drive growth by ensuring high levels of account activity and engagement.
- Represent Saltz at industry events, trade visits, and meetings, utilizing your HoReCa credibility to open doors.
Requirements
- Proven experience selling food products to restaurants, hotels, or other HoReCa clients, with a background in distribution or wholesale.
- Strong understanding of food pricing, margins, and the decision-making processes of chefs.
- A track record of successfully growing existing accounts, not just acquiring new ones.
- Ability to manage multiple relationships simultaneously without compromising service quality.
- Language skills: Native Lithuanian and proficient English; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with digital marketplaces, SaaS, or tools used in the hospitality industry.
- Experience selling to hotel chains or multi-unit restaurant operators.
- An existing network within the local HoReCa market.
