Salesforce QA Automation Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Motive. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in India while contributing to our mission of empowering businesses with innovative tools. As a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our Salesforce applications and configurations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and streamline operations.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development process.
• Take ownership of test planning, documentation, and execution for Salesforce projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Create and execute detailed test cases and scripts to verify the functionality, performance, security, and usability of Salesforce applications.
• Identify, document, and report defects clearly, including steps to reproduce and severity assessments.
• Manage and maintain test data, ensuring its integrity and relevance for testing purposes.
• Participate in enhancing the overall quality assurance process, including improvements to testing methodologies and automation efforts.
• Identify and automate test cases using the Playwright framework.
• Conduct peer reviews and participate in post-mortem analyses for production bugs to prevent future occurrences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in manual software testing, preferably with a focus on Salesforce CRM.
• At least 1 year of experience in test automation using tools like Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM platform and configurations (Sales & Service Cloud).
• Attention to detail with solid documentation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira and TestRail.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CPQ, Zuora, Boomi, and Netsuite.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, and SQL.
