Resource Manager - Remote Position at Tenable

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Resource Manager to join our team at Tenable, a leading Exposure Management company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Resource Manager to work remotely and play a vital role in managing resources for Professional Services and Education engagements. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the timely delivery of services while managing resource allocation efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Professional Services and Education teams to centralize resource management activities.
• Obtain resources for all Professional Services and Education engagements based on skill set and calendar availability.
• Support the engagement lifecycle from booking to scheduling, delivery, and revenue recognition.
• Manage and resolve resource booking conflicts effectively.
• Participate in weekly resource meetings to identify resource requirements for each engagement.
• Build and maintain resource forecasts based on discussions with Professional Services leads.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate scheduling for engagements.
• Monitor project activities and resourcing, addressing underutilization with Team Leads.
• Manage the provision of virtual training courses.
• Assist in increasing utilization numbers on the Professional Services team.
• Manage subcontractor utilization and ensure efficient delivery of work.
• Utilize software applications like Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, NetSuite, Financial Force, and Salesforce.

Requirements

• 2+ years of resource management or project management experience in the software solutions industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce/Financial Force is a plus.
• Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines confidently.
• RMCP certification preferred.
