About the Role

What You'll Do

• Coordinate patient intake processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their intake status and any required information.
• Utilize EHR systems to manage patient data and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate seamless care coordination.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant healthcare standards.
• Analyze data related to patient intake and provide insights for process improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for intake operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare intake or coordination role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EHR systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology.
• Analytical skills to assess data and improve processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience with Medicare Stars and HEDIS metrics is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Certification in healthcare administration or related field.
• Experience with financial analysis and GAAP standards.
• Familiarity with case management and utilization management principles.
