What You'll Do

• Conduct thorough compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures that align with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide compliance guidance and support for various projects.
• Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on the organization.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on compliance-related topics.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct due diligence and background checks as part of the Know Your Business (KYB) process.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within the financial services sector.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and compliance policies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management software.
• Ability to communicate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality assurance.
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Certification in compliance (e.g., CRCM, CAMS) is a plus.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with consumer lending regulations.
