Process Engineering Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're looking for a Process Engineering Manager remote to join our dynamic team at ShipBob. In this role, you will be instrumental in implementing operational processes that enhance our fulfillment operations. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that our processes are efficient and effective, ultimately improving the merchant experience.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Operations and Product leaders to design and roadmap changes to core operational functions.
• Utilize data to drive decision-making within operational processes and improvements.
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), stakeholder communication, and operational rollouts.
• Communicate procedure changes clearly to the Operations team.
• Work with Operations leaders to develop and manage plans for new processes.
• Organize and lead training sessions for team members.
• Plan detailed schedules for process rollouts.
• Collect and relay feedback from operators to the product team.
• Manage transitions and certify employees through a Training Certification program.
• Deliver comprehensive reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Travel regularly to fulfillment and hub sites to observe processes and establish training sessions.
• Comply with all food safety and compliance policies and regulations.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Fulfillment Operations, Process Improvement, and/or Program Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Engineering, Mathematics, or a similarly technical field.
• Experience with LEAN/Six Sigma in production environments.
• Established track record of taking ownership and driving results, especially in highly ambiguous situations.
• High degree of curiosity, problem solving, and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with an audience of Senior company leaders.
• A passion to grow as a leader and influence the ShipBob network and direction of ShipBob Operations.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with data analytics tools.
• Previous experience in a remote work environment.
