About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Accountant to join Haus & Grund Kiel, a leader in property management with over 15,000 units under our care. As a Remote Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations for our property management division, ensuring smooth transactions and financial transparency.

What You'll Do

• Manage the entire payment process, including rent, service charges, and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Act as a key point of contact for property management, providing financial insights and support.
• Conduct monthly financial controlling for clients, contributing to quality and transparency in financial reporting.
• Oversee security deposit management, maintaining accurate records and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with the property management team to develop practical solutions for complex financial matters.

Requirements

• Degree in real estate management or substantial accounting knowledge.
• Experience in property management or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop practical solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good understanding of financial regulations and legal frameworks in real estate.

Nice to Have

• Experience with property management software.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Knowledge of local real estate market trends.
