What You'll Do

• Perform communications and marketing functions that align with regional business objectives.
• Collaborate with various departments to provide communication and marketing support.
• Execute media relations strategies, including maintaining media contacts and writing news releases.
• Support disaster public affairs activities and provide training to volunteers.
• Implement a social media engagement strategy that reflects regional priorities.
• Support integrated campaign development in collaboration with Field Marketing.
• Engage and supervise a regional communications volunteer team.
• Utilize your expertise to analyze solutions and improve communication strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in communications or public relations.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with knowledge of AP Style.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with media monitoring software.
• Experience managing social media platforms for organizations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to serve as a media spokesperson.
