Senior C++ Game Developer - Client-Side for MMO

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior C++ Game Developer to join our dynamic team at Scorewarrior, a leading game developer based in Limassol, Cyprus. As a Senior C++ Game Developer, you will play a crucial role in the client-side implementation of features for our flagship MMO game, Total Battle. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant environment with over 2 million monthly active players and contribute to making Total Battle the #1 game in its genre.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement innovative solutions for new game mechanics based on documentation provided by game designers.
• Create technical designs and implement them in Cocos2d-x and Unity-based projects.
• Prepare RFC documents detailing your approach and engage in discussions with the team prior to implementation.
• Deliver your solutions to production and ensure their smooth operation by monitoring performance post-deployment.
• Conduct code reviews for fellow team members, adhering to team coding guidelines and best practices.
• Participate actively in team meetings to align on project priorities and progress.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with C++ (17+) in a product-based company.
• Experience with interfaces on any framework.
• Proficient knowledge of version control systems for real-world applications.
• Understanding of design principles and patterns, with the ability to apply them appropriately.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

Nice to Have

• Experience with 2D/3D game engines such as Cocos2d-x or Unity.
• Familiarity with C# and client-server interaction projects.
