Event Supervisor - Renaissance Vienna Schönbrunn Hotel

About the Role

We are looking for an Event Supervisor to join the Renaissance Vienna Schönbrunn Hotel, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences. As an Event Supervisor remote, you will lead tours for potential event clients, create tailored proposals, and manage event logistics to ensure seamless execution.

What You'll Do

• Conduct guided tours for prospective event clients, showcasing our venue's unique offerings.
• Create customized event proposals and programs, ensuring availability and suitability for client needs.
• Coordinate and manage daily event spaces, overseeing setup and logistics.
• Prepare invoices and ensure timely dispatch of deposit invoices to clients.
• Supervise and coordinate events on-site, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Utilize your strong command of German and English to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Leverage your experience with Opera software for Sales & Catering to enhance event management.
• Foster a positive and collaborative environment among team members to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
• Familiarity with Opera software is a plus.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• A completed vocational training in gastronomy or hospitality is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or event management context.
• Knowledge of local event trends and venues.
• Additional languages are a plus.
