Regional Activation Manager - Remote Role in Cannabis Marketing

About the Role

We are looking for a Regional Activation Manager to join our team at Green Thumb Industries (GTI). This remote role is pivotal in driving revenue and growth in the Upstate New York market. As a Regional Activation Manager, you will provide day-to-day tactical marketing support and serve as the "feet on the street" to execute regionally and nationally led marketing programs, initiatives, and events for both consumer packaged goods and retail. Your mission will be to bring our brands to life and support retail initiatives through the tactical ownership of various marketing initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and execute all centrally and regionally led marketing programs, including event sponsorships, concerts, in-store events, and wholesale programs.
• Partner with retail operations and local store teams to ensure successful execution of marketing programs and events on and offsite.
• Ensure that all promotions and product launches are fully executed at the store level, including displays, in-stock products, signage, and employee education.
• Maintain and update the regional budget, ensuring expenses are recorded in a timely manner.
• Support the sales team with account trainings and trade events in partnership with the Manager of Regional Marketing.
• Customize digital and printed creative templates for various initiatives to fit regional needs.
• Provide marketing initiative and event recaps to identify areas of opportunity and make recommendations for improvement.
• Establish strong relationships with customers, external partners, and cross-functional team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years in sales, brand marketing, or field marketing at a retail organization or consumer products company.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Background in sales, brand marketing, field marketing, retail activation, and project management is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to travel for events and meetings multiple times throughout the year, in-market and out of market overnight, up to 30%.
