Q2 Digital Banking Developer - Remote Contract Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Q2 Digital Banking Developer remote to join our team at ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions. This fully remote contract position offers a competitive pay rate of $70.00 - $80.00 per hour. As a Q2 Digital Banking Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the stabilization and enhancement of a recently implemented online banking platform within our consumer banking business. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure the platform meets user needs and operates efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and enhance features within the Q2 Digital Banking platform using Q2 SDK and Caliper APIs.
• Support stabilization efforts following a recent platform migration, focusing on performance improvements and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to deliver prioritized initiatives.
• Contribute to improvements in key areas such as account summary, user interface, and overall digital banking experience.
• Redesign and optimize money movement workflows, including internal transfers and peer-to-peer payment functionality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support the transition to a product-based delivery model.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with technical teams and business partners to drive alignment and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with the Q2 Digital Banking platform.
• Strong experience with Q2 SDK and Caliper APIs.
• Experience supporting or participating in Q2 Digital Banking implementations preferred.
• Experience working on consumer-facing online banking or financial services platforms preferred.
• Strong foundation in API development, integration, and digital platform engineering.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Proven ability to work independently within a small, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

• Experience collaborating within product-based delivery models.
• Familiarity with money movement systems, payments, or fraud-related initiatives.
