Psychologist - Remote Mental Health Services
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Psychologist to join our team and promote equitable access to psychological care through remote services. As a Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in building psychology services in primary care, ensuring that individuals achieve optimal mental health and well-being. This position allows you to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, making a significant impact on the community.
What You'll Do
- Conduct psychological screenings using validated tools such as GAD-7 and PHQ9.
- Apply theoretical and professional knowledge to formulate comprehensive psychological assessments and select appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions using appropriate outcome measurements.
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Design and conduct mental health-related workshops and talks to promote awareness and education.
- Support the SHP Staff Support program by providing necessary training to staff and Peer Supporters.
- Participate in quality improvement or research projects to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
- Master of Clinical or Counselling Psychology or other relevant MPsych (MA/MSc), DPsych.
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related setting is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) as a Registered Psychologist.
