Global Intellectual Property Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Global Intellectual Property Manager to join our team at Nemera, a leading manufacturer of drug delivery systems. This remote opportunity allows you to drive the company's intellectual property (IP) strategy while working with a diverse team dedicated to improving patients' lives.

What You'll Do

• Define and implement the company's IP strategy in alignment with group objectives.
• Supervise and manage the IP portfolio, ensuring its monitoring, valuation, and protection.
• Support internal stakeholders in decision-making related to IP issues.
• Act as an advisor in interpreting IP rights while balancing business priorities and risk management.
• Monitor the performance of IP tools and suggest improvements.
• Manage the IP team, fostering a culture of IP awareness and training.
• Coordinate legal actions and ensure compliance with IP rights.
• Review and secure IP clauses in contracts prior to submission for approval.

Requirements

• Engineering degree, preferably mechanical.
• Fluent in English; French is appreciated.
• At least 15 years of experience in the industry.
• Experience in infringement and licensing.
• Knowledge of the healthcare environment and M&A experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Leadership qualities and a strong sense of confidentiality.

Nice to Have

• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, R&D, and legal teams.
• Familiarity with IP law and agreement law.
