Proposal Manager - Remote Position at CAI

We are seeking a talented Proposal Manager to join our team at CAI. This remote Proposal Manager position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the end-to-end proposal process for complex state and local government opportunities. What You'll Do

• Lead the proposal management process from opportunity identification through solution development and final submission.
• Coordinate closely with internal technical teams to define approaches and develop compelling proposal content.
• Facilitate reviews with leadership and incorporate feedback to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
• Partner with Sales, Service Delivery, Legal/Insurance, Governance, and Proposal Production teams to optimize proposal strategies.
• Manage proposals for government and private sector clients, ranging from $50K to $200M+.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Business Administration, or an IT-related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in proposal writing or a directly related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Information Technology (IT) service offerings, particularly in the Public Sector.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and translate business requirements into effective proposals.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and design skills.

• Experience working with a custom-developed proposal process.
• Prior experience in a matrix environment with teams of varying skill levels.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to exercise sound independent judgment.
