Delivery Manager - Hybrid Role at Cambridge University Press

About the Role

We are seeking a Delivery Manager remote to join our People & Culture (P&C) team at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. This role is pivotal in supporting global entity-related change across the organization. As a Delivery Manager remote, you will work in a hybrid delivery environment, blending Agile principles with structured project governance to ensure smooth workflows and alignment with organizational priorities.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate P&C activities across multi-disciplinary teams, including Reward, People Partnering, People Service Delivery, HRIS, Finance, and Legal.
• Ensure smooth and coordinated delivery across entity-related workstreams.
• Maintain clear prioritization, sequencing, and visibility of interdependencies.
• Facilitate effective delivery meetings and decision-making processes.
• Provide governance support, including RAID management, reporting, and change control.
• Communicate with stakeholders, ensuring clarity on progress, risks, and upcoming deliverables.
• Plan transitions into BAU at the end of each project.

Requirements

• Experience coordinating complex delivery or project activity, ideally within HR or related functions.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Knowledge of Agile principles and hybrid delivery practices.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Miro, or MS Planner.
• Ability to operate autonomously and maintain momentum.
• Strong data literacy and clear documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with entity set-ups or integrations.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar project management qualification.
• Lean, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence experience.
• Previous delivery experience in large, global, or multi-stakeholder environments.
• Familiarity with people-related considerations in global change initiatives.
