About the Role

Rapt Studio is seeking a talented Project Designer to join our innovative team. This Project Designer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects while collaborating closely with our interdisciplinary teams. As a Project Designer, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the design and execution of our projects, ensuring that we deliver exceptional results for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage multiple design projects from concept through construction, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and graphic designers to create holistic design solutions.
• Utilize software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp to develop detailed design documents.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Oversee construction administration and budget reviews, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Engage in 3D visualization to present design concepts effectively.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall growth of the design team.
• Participate in workshops and model reviews to foster a collaborative design environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 4-8 years of experience in an architecture or design studio.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of project management and construction processes.
• Ability to develop construction documents and manage vendor relationships.
• State licensure or pursuit of licensure is encouraged.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for creative problem-solving.
