Project Controller - Remote Opportunity at Syntax

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Controller to join our team at Syntax, a leading Managed Cloud Provider. This Project Controller remote position will allow you to manage a portfolio of strategic and operational projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering optimal value to the company.

What You'll Do

• Guide and execute the initial setup of projects in all internal systems, including MS Teams, SharePoint, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Communicate project booking structure and rules, including working hours and travel regulations.
• Initiate all financial reporting per project/customer.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare, maintain, and track project management deliverables.
• Assist in various PGO project deliverables such as Project Charter and Q-Gate.
• Prepare materials for various forums, including Weekly Status and Onboarding sessions.
• Approve and clarify timesheets and travel-related bookings and expenses.
• Gather information for project status reporting and perform weekly updates.
• Coordinate the billing cycle with the invoicing team in alignment with contractual agreements.

Requirements

• A degree in Administration or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT or consulting environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
• Proficient in MS Excel for managing, tracking, and reporting project budgets.
• Experience with SAP modules and transactions is preferred.
• Ability to balance competing tasks and requests from various projects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate and SAP Cloud ALM is a plus.
