Product Owner - Payment Gateway Solutions (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner for Payment Gateway Solutions to join our dynamic team at PGWay. As a Product Owner remote, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of payment solutions for digital businesses. Your expertise will help us simplify complex payment flows and enhance transaction success rates globally.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized and aligned with our product strategy.
• Guide features from concept through to deployment, actively shepherding enhancements from idea to production.
• Translate high-level roadmap items into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Product Managers to clarify feature requirements and define key objectives.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, facilitating effective communication.
• Participate in all agile ceremonies, ensuring tasks are well understood and ready for development.
• Continuously refine and groom the backlog, anticipating future needs.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the delivered product meets specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner in an agile development environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with product backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• A strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for building great products.

Nice to Have

• Experience in FinTech or payment solutions.
• Familiarity with payment gateway technologies.
