Product Designer (UI/​UX) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're looking for a talented Product Designer (UI/UX) to join our team at PurpleMerit. This remote position allows you to leverage your design skills to create products that users will love. If you believe that great design is the difference between tools people tolerate and products they cherish, this role is for you. As a Product Designer (UI/UX), you will move from user insights to clear flows and polished UI, collaborating closely with engineering to deliver designs that are feasible and impactful.

What You'll Do

• Conduct user research and journey mapping to identify pain points and create personas.
• Design UX flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma, transitioning from low to high fidelity.
• Build and maintain a scalable design system that includes tokens, components, and documentation.
• Ensure visual quality and consistency across screens and platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with PMs and engineers to ensure clarity and pixel-perfect execution.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Figma, including Auto-Layout, components, and clean file structure.
• Ability to explain design decisions based on user needs and business impact.
• Comfort with AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to enhance your design workflow.
• A passion for fast-paced environments, where you can iterate quickly and validate your designs.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a startup environment.
