About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Solution Architect to join our team at Occulytics. This remote Principal Solution Architect position is a unique opportunity to lead the technical direction of our client projects while working at the intersection of data, analytics, and real-world operations. You will play a crucial role in transforming fragmented data into actionable insights that drive occupancy, pricing, and growth in the senior living industry.

What You'll Do

• Design scalable data and analytics architectures, including data warehouses, modeling, and business intelligence systems.
• Act as the technical lead with clients, translating complex business problems into effective technical solutions.
• Own data models, metric definitions, and ensure overall solution quality.
• Review and guide the work of engineers and partners to maintain high standards.
• Extend analytics into tools, workflows, or lightweight applications as needed.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate development processes and improve quality.
• Establish internal standards and reusable patterns as the company scales.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or data engineering.
• Experience designing enterprise-grade data platforms.
• Background in consulting or highly client-facing roles.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling fundamentals.
• Comfortable working across data and light application layers, including APIs and workflows.
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and dbt.
• Proficient in using AI tools like Claude Code and Codex securely to enhance work processes.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively guide clients and push back when necessary.
