Grocery Operations Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Grocery Operations Manager to join our team remotely, focusing on transforming grocery operations in the UAE. As a Grocery Operations Manager, you will lead the operational strategy for our grocery partner network, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our customers. This role is pivotal in driving performance, quality, and operational continuity across all picker sites.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day operations across all active grocery partner locations in the UAE, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and partner standards.
• Directly oversee Site Leads, providing guidance and support for their development while indirectly managing Team Leads and Fulfilment Associates.
• Conduct regular field visits to audit execution quality, picker behavior, and compliance with partner requirements.
• Own the full order lifecycle, focusing on pick accuracy, pack quality, readiness time, and handoff to riders.
• Lead escalation management for any SLA breaches or operational failures at the site level.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in operations management within grocery, retail, or on-demand delivery.
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations and large teams.
• Strong data skills, including the ability to build trackers and derive insights from operational metrics.
• Experience managing third-party agencies or vendors in an operational context.
• Excellent written communication skills for producing clear reports and business cases.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Google Sheets / Excel and familiarity with data tools.
• Experience with performance management and KPI setting.
• Good understanding of grocery retail operations and inventory management.
