About the Role

We are looking for a talented Principal Product Designer to join our team at AppliedAI. This is an exciting opportunity for a Principal Product Designer to work in a collaborative environment, shaping the future of AI technology. As a Principal Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in defining user experiences for our innovative AI platform. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and is not remote.

What You'll Do

• Define the vision for user interactions with AI, creating intuitive and human-centered experiences.
• Own and ship world-class products, overseeing the entire design process from research to implementation.
• Influence stakeholders across various teams, ensuring alignment and clarity in design rationale.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and measure success.
• Set high standards for UX and visual design, mentoring other designers and evolving the design culture.
• Design innovative interaction paradigms for AI agents and generative experiences.

Requirements

• 7–12+ years of product design experience in high-craft environments.
• A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end ownership of digital products.
• Experience in defining design languages or systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects to polished implementation.
• Strong skills in system thinking, visual design, and interaction design.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-driven or data-intensive products.
• Collaboration experience with AI model training teams.
• Background in setting design vision in high-growth environments.
• Expertise in motion design and prototyping tools like Figma and ProtoPie.
