Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer - Cloud Solutions
About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do
- Deliver software on schedule, supporting the team in meeting sprint goals.
- Work both independently and within an Agile team to produce clean, maintainable code.
- Solve complex problems with innovative, reliable solutions.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers throughout planning, design, development, and deployment of web-based micro-services.
- Showcase progress regularly to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship & Active TS/SCI Clearance Required.
- Full-stack web development experience with Python and Flask.
- Hands-on Agile development experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with small technical teams.
- Proven ability to prioritize, adjust tasks, and deliver results.
- Demonstrated analytical skill-set for complex problem solving.
Nice to Have
- Back-end & APIs – Microservices, Swagger/OpenAPI, Python/Flask, TypeScript, JavaScript.
- Front-end – HTML, CSS.
- Infrastructure & Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Argo, Terraform.
- Databases – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Cassandra.
- Observability & Monitoring – Grafana, Elastic.
- DevOps / DevSecOps – CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitLab, SonarQube, Trivy/Claire, Linux command line.
