About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

• Deliver software on schedule, supporting the team in meeting sprint goals.
• Work both independently and within an Agile team to produce clean, maintainable code.
• Solve complex problems with innovative, reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers throughout planning, design, development, and deployment of web-based micro-services.
• Showcase progress regularly to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship & Active TS/SCI Clearance Required.
• Full-stack web development experience with Python and Flask.
• Hands-on Agile development experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with small technical teams.
• Proven ability to prioritize, adjust tasks, and deliver results.
• Demonstrated analytical skill-set for complex problem solving.

• Back-end & APIs – Microservices, Swagger/OpenAPI, Python/Flask, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Front-end – HTML, CSS.
• Infrastructure & Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, Argo, Terraform.
• Databases – PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Cassandra.
• Observability & Monitoring – Grafana, Elastic.
• DevOps / DevSecOps – CI/CD pipelines, Git/GitLab, SonarQube, Trivy/Claire, Linux command line.
