What You'll Do

• Build and evolve the core AI tutoring system, focusing on prompt architectures and real-time adaptive behaviors.
• Run rigorous experimentation and evaluation to develop custom metrics for measuring learning effectiveness.
• Design scalable and maintainable software that integrates AI capabilities with platform systems.
• Collaborate with educators and product teams to translate pedagogical goals into technical solutions.
• Prototype novel model interactions, utilizing emerging research to enhance the tutor's intelligence.
• Ensure quality and safety through monitoring and iterative refinement of model behavior.
• Share knowledge and elevate teammates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience building complex LLM-based systems with strong prompt engineering skills.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with production infrastructure and CI/CD.
• Ability to design meaningful evaluation methods and frameworks.
• Strong empathy for learners and the ability to translate pedagogical goals into system behavior.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
