Principal Account Executive - Remote Role for Web3 Innovators
About the Role
Join Figment as a Principal Account Executive in a fully remote role, where you'll be at the forefront of the Web3 revolution. Figment is a leader in blockchain infrastructure, providing innovative staking solutions to over 500 institutional clients. As a Principal Account Executive, you will drive enterprise growth across North America, focusing on marketplace platforms, TradFi institutions, and institutional blockchain networks.
What You'll Do
- Own the North America enterprise revenue target and develop territory strategies for exchanges and neobanks entering the crypto space.
- Close large, complex deals end-to-end, taking full accountability for high-value opportunities.
- Mentor and lead a small team of Account Executives, setting the standard for sales execution.
- Engage directly with the TradFi segment, working with banks and custodians on custody architecture and validator economics.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts through strong pipeline discipline and clear stage management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Sales Engineering to drive regulated deals forward.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience selling infrastructure or financial products to banks, custodians, or exchanges.
- Strong background in crypto infrastructure or TradFi institutions, with a solid understanding of buyer evaluation processes.
- Proven track record of closing seven-figure ARR deals with full ownership.
- Ability to navigate complex negotiations and compliance processes within regulated institutions.
- Experience managing a small team while carrying an individual quota, focusing on coaching and development.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience selling staking, custody, or validator infrastructure.
- Existing relationships with ETF issuers or digital asset teams within major banks.
- Familiarity with emerging institutional blockchain networks.
