Payroll Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Are you a Payroll Specialist looking for a remote opportunity? Join our dynamic team at ba tax, where you will focus on payroll processing without the hassle of paperwork. As a Payroll Specialist, you will work in a digital environment with clear processes and numerous interfaces, contributing to exciting international projects.

What You'll Do

• Independently create payroll and salary statements for your assigned clients.
• Act as a point of contact for tax and social security law inquiries.
• Support payroll audits and social security examinations.
• Handle international matters, including A1 certificates and assignments.
• Prepare reports, certificates, and evaluations as needed.
• Communicate effectively with health insurance companies, tax offices, and authorities.
• Utilize modern tools and automated processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• Completed training as a tax clerk, payroll accountant, or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience in payroll processing, ideally with DATEV LODAS.
• Strong interest in digital processes and a modern work environment.
• Fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English (minimum B1).
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with international payroll regulations.
• Knowledge of additional payroll software.
• Previous experience in a startup or SaaS environment.
