About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist Lead - Remote to join our dynamic team at Remote. This role is essential for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations across Poland. As a Payroll Specialist Lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our global payroll processes while working in a fully remote environment.

What You'll Do

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for Poland, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tax, Finance, and Customer Success to streamline payroll operations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on payroll requirements, staying updated on legislative changes.
• Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and compliance issues proactively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and documentation.
• Utilize payroll tools and data analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in testing activities for payroll system enhancements.
• Support the rollout of payroll services in new jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Mid-senior level experience in payroll operations, specifically in Poland.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong understanding of payroll controls, reconciliations, and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Experience working in remote or globally distributed teams.
• Proficient in payroll tools and data analysis.
• Ability to manage complex payroll scenarios and stakeholder coordination.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with multiple payroll systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
