Payroll Implementation Consultant - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Payroll Implementation Consultant to join our team at Deel. This remote position offers the opportunity to lead the successful implementation of clients on our Deel Local Payroll system. As a key player in our organization, you will guide clients through the critical payroll onboarding process, ensuring compliance and efficiency in payroll operations.

What You'll Do

• Engage with clients to understand their current payroll systems and compliance requirements in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
• Create thorough documentation for requirements, configurations, and project changes to support knowledge transfer.
• Translate client requirements into software configurations, customizing settings for country-specific regulations and tax laws.
• Design and execute data migration strategies, ensuring data compatibility and accuracy.
• Lead side-by-side payroll comparisons to validate accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
• Support clients during their first payroll run, resolving issues in real time to ensure compliance.
• Manage your client portfolio to ensure timely, high-quality payroll implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience in payroll system implementation.
• Strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance standards in the UK and Ireland.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Postgraduate qualification or certification like PMP.
• Experience with various payroll systems and software.
• Interest in client-facing project management.
