About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Restaurant Associate to join our team at Shree Hari Aurora Subs. This role is essential in providing our customers with an excellent experience through fast, friendly, and efficient service. As a Restaurant Associate, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive quality food and good vibes every time they visit.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Prepare high-quality food items, including sandwiches, salads, and soups, following company recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the shop, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  • Restock food lines and assist in various stations as directed by the manager or shift leader.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and follow all cash handling procedures.
  • Address customer complaints and issues effectively to ensure satisfaction.
  • Deliver catering orders as per the Catering Driver and Delivery Agreement.
  • Perform cleaning duties, including tables, counters, and kitchen utensils.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency.
  • Must be friendly and possess neat and clean hygiene.
  • Ability to handle food preparation equipment confidently.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and follow directions from management.
  • Food safety certification is required within 30 days of employment for Illinois employees.
