About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Assistant to join our team at OSB Group. This remote Customer Service Assistant position offers a unique opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while managing various banking transactions. You will be part of a passionate team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and supports individuals in achieving their savings goals.

What You'll Do

• Build rapport with customers face-to-face in a busy branch environment.
• Accurately process transactions and amendments on various types of savings accounts, including deposits, withdrawals, and faster payments.
• Handle large sums of cash and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Open new savings accounts and carry out daily banking operations within the branch.
• Oversee G4S cash collections and deliveries.
• Identify and support vulnerable customers, ensuring their needs are met.
• Assist customers wishing to provide feedback or raise a complaint.
• Work collaboratively with the team to solve problems and enhance the customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience in cash handling is essential.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate resilience.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the banking or financial services sector.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
