About the Role

We are seeking a Paid Media Specialist to join our dynamic team at Theo. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a fast-growing performance media agency headquartered in Portland, Oregon. As a Paid Media Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing paid media campaigns for a variety of clients, helping them achieve their marketing goals through innovative strategies and data-driven insights.

What You'll Do

  • Manage paid media campaigns across various platforms including Search, Social, and Video.
  • Build, monitor, and optimize campaigns with a focus on targeting strategy, bid and budget management, and ad copy creation.
  • Report on campaign performance and provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Account Management, Strategy, Analytics, and UX to ensure successful campaign execution.
  • Utilize reporting and analytics tools to identify performance trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding campaign performance and optimization strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, platform capabilities, and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Support media vendor communications and partnership expectations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in agency or in-house performance media roles.
  • Proficiency in primary digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Meta.
  • Strong understanding of paid search and paid social campaigns.
  • Ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with tagging platforms like Google Tag Manager is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRO and/or SEO is advantageous.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in cross-channel media and full-funnel implementation.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and platform updates.
  • Ability to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
