Network & Security Operations Lead - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Network & Security Operations Lead to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, governing, securing, and transforming enterprise-wide network and security operations across IT and Plant/OT environments. You will drive operational excellence, ensure resilient connectivity, strengthen security posture, and lead the transition from traditional network operations to AI-enabled Network & Security Operations.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement robust network architectures to support scalable, high-performance IT-OT infrastructure, web applications, and cloud platforms.
• Develop and maintain network and security standards that align with industry best practices, ensuring consistent performance and resilience.
• Implement security policies and technologies including firewalls, encryption, and access controls to protect critical infrastructure and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall efficiency.
• Lead security audits and vulnerability assessments and take proactive steps to mitigate risks across network environments.
• Drive innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives and adopt emerging technologies that enhance network and security capabilities.
• Lead incident response activities, including investigation, root cause analysis, communication with stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions.
• Mentor and guide network and security teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development.

Requirements

• Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory; MBA/MCA is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in network and security architecture design for a global company.
• Certifications such as CISSP and CCNP are preferred.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and effective communication skills.
• Experience in developing network security strategies and exposure to IEC 62443 frameworks for industrial automation is desired.
• Familiarity with AI/AIOps-driven operations is a plus.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies as applied to network and security projects is preferred.
