Senior Front-End Engineer - Angular & SAP Spartacus Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team at Leaseweb. This remote position offers the opportunity to work on our modern, modular, and scalable Angular storefront, contributing to the development and maintenance of our e-commerce solutions. As a key member of the Website team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality user experiences while ensuring code quality, performance, accessibility, and testing.

What You'll Do

• Develop, test, and support our SAP Spartacus/Composable Storefront B2B e-Commerce website.
• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into clear, technical designs to create interactive website pages.
• Create intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible website pages, ensuring usability and accessibility standards are met.
• Optimize performance by improving loading times, responsiveness, and efficiency through techniques such as code splitting and lazy loading.
• Design scalable frontend systems and manage complex application states.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for quality assurance.
• Work with build tools and deployment pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Document integration solutions and record best practices for knowledge retention and sharing.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver new features to our customers.
• Provide support for integration incidents and help improve performance where necessary.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience, with a focus on front-end technologies.
• Proficiency in Angular, Typescript, Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML, REST, JSON, and Spring.
• Experience building scalable web solutions using components, templates, services, and dependency injection.
• Familiarity with Spartacus/SAP Composable Storefront, Commerce Cloud/Hybris, Back Office, Smart Edit, RxJS, and Sass.
• Knowledge of SEO, SQL, SAP ERP, and CMS/CRM systems.
• Strong understanding of programming architectures, software engineering best practices, and design patterns.
• Excellent team player, capable of fostering a culture of trust, autonomy, and collaboration.
• Self-motivated and driven to provide excellent services to customers.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools such as Zoom and Teams.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Chef or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Previous experience in a multicultural work environment.
