Mid-Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Agentic Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our remote team. As a key member of our talent network, you will connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work. This Ruby on Rails Engineer remote position allows you to integrate directly into our client's teams, collaborating with designers and engineers daily.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain applications using Ruby on Rails, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Design and implement RESTful web services and integrate APIs to enhance application functionality.
• Utilize PostgreSQL or traditional SQL databases for effective data management.
• Leverage AI engineering tools such as OpenAI Codex and Claude Code to accelerate software development.
• Guide and review AI-generated code, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Implement code agents to automate software engineering tasks, enhancing productivity.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to the development of large, complex systems.
• Maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications to ensure smooth deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically with Ruby on Rails.
• Advanced English proficiency is required.
• A four-year college degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week and take ownership of your work.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
