About the Role

We are hiring a Mid-Senior Instructional Designer to join our team at Aramco, a leader in the oil and gas industry. This role is based in Saudi Arabia and offers a unique opportunity to contribute to world-class learning solutions for our evolving workforce. What You'll Do

  • Conduct thorough learning needs assessments to identify training gaps and program effectiveness.
  • Research instructional design methodologies, trends, tools, and training technologies.
  • Design and develop curriculum and instructional materials incorporating emerging technologies such as Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Create assessments and evaluation instruments, including structured tests, quizzes, interviews, and surveys for training programs.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts, vendors, and technical staff to pilot and evaluate curricula and delivery methodologies.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions to ensure effective use of learning and assessment materials.
  • Plan, monitor, and report on curriculum development, evaluation, and training technology projects.
  • Conduct site visits to training centers to provide feedback and support, and submit comprehensive reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, or a Technical/Trade/Vocational discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 12 years of work experience, including at least 5 years in Instructional Design or Vocational Training.
  • Proven experience in developing classroom-based learning, e-learning, m-learning, and blended learning solutions for a technical workforce.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and program effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience with advanced instructional design tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas industry and its training requirements.
  • Certification in instructional design or related fields.
