About the Role

Capitole Consulting is expanding, and we want you to be a part of our journey! We are seeking a Fullstack Engineer (Java & React) remote with over 5 years of experience who is interested in relocating to Spain for a significant e-commerce project. This Fullstack Engineer remote position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

What You'll Do

  • Actively participate in the design and development of APIs.
  • Ensure code quality and cleanliness (Clean Code) in all deliverables.
  • Work in 2-week sprints, focusing on iterative user stories and team accountability.
  • Utilize Java 11-17 and React to build robust applications.
  • Implement hexagonal architecture (DDD) for scalable solutions.
  • Engage with technologies such as Kafka, MongoDB, and Couchbase.
  • Adopt an API-first approach using OpenAPI and gRPC.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Engineer remote, with a strong background in Java and React.
  • Proficiency in TDD and cloud technologies is desirable.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in sprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with additional frameworks and libraries.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
