Piper Companies is seeking a talented Enterprise AI Engineer to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in supporting a global leader in medical technology, where you will implement, manage, and optimize core components of an enterprise AI platform. As an AI Engineer remote, you will enhance software development workflows and contribute to innovative solutions in the healthcare sector.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deploy production-grade agentic AI solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless AI model delivery and updates.
• Manage AI workloads in Azure, utilizing cognitive services and cloud-native tools.
• Improve software development efficiency while adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on AI initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience with hands-on deployment of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Strong background in API design and integration using REST or GraphQL.
• Advanced experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Deep expertise in machine learning and agentic AI systems.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this remote role.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, and Cognitive Services.
• Familiarity with Terraform, ARM, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as GitHub, JIRA, Docker, and Kubernetes.
