About the Role

We’re hiring a Mid-Level QA / Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As a QA / Test Engineer, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and usability. This role is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented and quality-focused, with 2-5 years of experience in software testing. You will design and execute testing strategies, identify issues, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to ensure timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues effectively.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Conduct regression, integration, and functional testing to verify product stability.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning to align testing with project goals.
  • Improve overall QA processes and test coverage to enhance product quality.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or test automation.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Basic scripting or programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
