Microsoft Exchange Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Microsoft Exchange Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This Microsoft Exchange Engineer role will allow you to enhance your skills while supporting Exchange and Outlook functionality for users, managing daily operations, and contributing to an upcoming data center migration.

What You'll Do

• Provide third-level operational support for an enterprise banking messaging environment, including end-user mailbox support and access control.
• Work directly with employees to troubleshoot and resolve issues with Outlook desktop, Outlook on the Web (OWA), and mobile clients.
• Manage daily provisioning, de-provisioning, and enablement of user mailboxes across on-premises Exchange and Exchange Online.
• Audit and manage mailbox permissions, calendar delegation, and folder-level permissions.
• Create, modify, and maintain Distribution Lists, Security Groups, and Microsoft 365 Groups.
• Monitor and optimize the environment, developing and maintaining documentation, knowledge articles, runbooks, and playbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of technical experience implementing, supporting, administering, and migrating Microsoft Exchange and M365 Services.
• Extensive experience managing Windows Server OS environments.
• Strong understanding of mail dependencies with AD, DNS, routing, Load Balancing, and TLS.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to all levels of management and staff.
• Effective problem-solving, analysis, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to take ownership and follow through on incident resolution.
• Self-directed and proactive with a strong focus on customer service.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a regulated enterprise banking environment.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
