Marketing Operations Specialist - Demand Generation (Remote)
About the Role
We're hiring a Marketing Operations Specialist - Demand Generation to join our dynamic team at Laravel. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the United States, preferably within the EST-PST time zones. As a Marketing Operations Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in enhancing our demand generation efforts by building systems that make our marketing measurable and scalable. Your expertise will help us transform our lead generation process and ensure that we can accurately track and attribute our marketing efforts.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of HubSpot as your end-to-end platform, leading lifecycle stages, lead scoring, workflow architecture, database hygiene, and custom reporting.
- Build and maintain attribution infrastructure, including UTM frameworks and multi-touch attribution models that provide clear insights into which campaigns drive revenue.
- Integrate enrichment tools like Clay, Apollo, or Clearbit to ensure leads are enriched upon entry and routed to the appropriate teams.
- Manage lifecycle email operations, including audience segmentation, trigger logic, QA, and reporting for lifecycle programs.
- Design and manage data flows between HubSpot and connected systems, ensuring data integrity across platforms.
- Develop dashboards that provide actionable insights into revenue-driving activities, moving beyond vanity metrics.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to enrollment triggers, UTM configurations, and routing errors.
- Collaborate across teams to build event/webinar landing pages, stage email campaigns, and publish content.
- Document all processes, including runbooks and system architecture diagrams, to maintain clarity and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or a closely related role at a B2B SaaS company, with at least 2 years in a fast-growing startup environment.
- HubSpot Certified, with hands-on experience building and managing a HubSpot instance end-to-end.
- Proven track record of building attribution models from scratch, including UTM frameworks and revenue reporting.
- Experience with enrichment platforms (Clay, Apollo, Clearbit) and configuring routing logic.
- Strong understanding of B2B demand generation, including inbound/outbound motions, lead scoring, and funnel metrics.
- Proficient in CRM/database management, integration architecture, APIs, and process automation; capable of writing lightweight scripts when necessary.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (HubSpot reporting, Hex, Salesforce) and comfortable using SQL for ad hoc analysis.
- Experience building automation workflows using AI tools or no-code platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier).
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance basics.
