Manual Software Quality Assurance Tester - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Manual Software Quality Assurance Tester to join our remote team at Testlio. As a Manual Software Quality Assurance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, or Mexico. You will be part of a dynamic team that focuses on functional and regression testing, following Agile methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our innovative crowdsourced testing platform powered by the LeoAI Engine™.

What You'll Do

• Conduct manual A/B testing to audit variances between multiple websites/pages, identifying and reporting any divergences.
• Execute smoke, scripted, and exploratory test cases on mobile, web, and desktop platforms.
• Perform functional, localization, regression, and payment testing to ensure software applications meet quality standards.
• Document and report test results, including bugs and potential risks, clearly communicating findings to the development team and stakeholders.
• Configure and prepare test environments as per provided instructions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of software products that meet customer expectations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Manual Software Tester or similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Xray).
• Experience with mobile and web applications frontend testing; backend testing is a bonus.
• Proficiency in identifying and documenting software bugs and issues.
• Ability to solve basic technical tasks required during testing, such as test data generation and log capturing.
• Experience working in Agile teams in a remote environment.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Charles, Insomnia, and Postman.
• Minor scripting or programming experience.
• Certificates in software testing courses (e.g., BBST Foundations, Bug Advocacy) are a plus.
